The Trust Factor
A daily lesson that focuses on achieving unparalleled success in life using ancient wisdom in modern times.
We will be discussing critical concepts as they are laid out in the book Sha'ar Habitachon - The Gate of Trust. Written 1000 years ago, the author reminds us of the values and wisdom that have allowed humanity to thrive throughout history.
The concept of trusting in a higher power that exists purely for our benefit, puts us in the drivers seat with absolute confidence to achieve greatness.
Eliminate: Fear, Hatred, Anxiety, Depression, Jealousy, Greed...forever!

Episode 148 - Why Judaism Values Quality Over Quantity in a Numbers-Obsessed World
Have you ever wondered why a tiny nation representing just 0.2% of the world's population continues to survive and thrive despite thousands of years of opposition? The answer lies in understanding the power of truth.
Today we dive deep into the fundamental difference between truth and falsehood, exploring how these concepts manifest in everything from religious approaches to conversion to current global propaganda campaigns. I share a fascinating insight about Hebrew letters – how the very shapes of the letters in "emet" (truth) provide solid foundations while those in "sheker" (falsehood) balance precariously on points, visually demonstrating why lies ultimately fall while truth stands firm.
We examine Judaism's quality-over-quantity approach, which stands in stark contrast to religions focused on maximizing converts regardless of sincerity. This principle extends to understanding why numerical majority doesn't automatically determine truth – a concept embedded in Torah wisdom where unanimous guilty verdicts are considered suspect rather than definitive. Perhaps most provocatively, we challenge the notion of "partial truth," asserting that truth must be 100% accurate or it becomes falsehood.
Whether you're interested in linguistic symbolism, religious philosophy, or simply navigating today's complex information landscape, this episode offers timeless wisdom for recognizing and standing firmly with truth in a world that often values quantity over quality. Subscribe to The Trust Factor to continue exploring how ancient wisdom provides practical guidance for modern challenges.
Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Trust Factor, the podcast that guarantees success when you implement its divine age-old teachings. We are into a new chapter. We are into a new discussion about the category, not a chapter. The status of the generation that we live in is positive and negative consequences for our actions. If you think that's wrong and you think that differs from reward and punishment, then feel free to send me a message, but I haven't found a difference yet. At the end of the day, these are rewards or punishments, consequences of our actions. Now the Chavot, halev Avot, gets into a pretty intense discussion around these concepts and some of them are pretty high level and really require a lot of esoteric thought. And that's not me. It just isn't. There are people who are very much in your head and need to get very high level, mystical, almost type reasonings. That's not how I operate. If you're listening to this podcast, we're 150 deep. You guys understand that I'm very pragmatic and I'm very practical. When I signed up to be able to live a life of godliness almost 20 years ago, it was because I understood the practical implications of keeping Torah and mitzvahs. That's why I did this.
Speaker 0:You know people come to you throughout your entire existence, especially from other religions that are proselytizing religions. They all want more subscribers. There are three major world religions Judaism, christianity and Islam. Judaism is the only one that does not proselytize. We don't want more subscribers. We wouldn't mind subscribers, but we don't go out and actively seek them. We don't take anybody and everybody who wants to come on board. We make it very difficult for them because we have to know that the people who are coming on board are coming on board for the right reasons. They are not doing it for selfish reasons. They're doing it for the right reasons and so because of that, we often push them away and say if you want to join this group, then you need to be able to establish that you are of the right material to be able to join and it is for the right reasons. The other religions will take you as you are. It doesn't matter what your intentions are. It doesn't matter what you want to do with this, where you want to go with it, how you're going to represent the religion. It doesn't matter what you want to do with this, where you want to go with it, how you're going to represent the religion, it doesn't matter to them. They just want numbers, and you can obviously understand that, because we live in a time where the masses suggest to us that the majority rules. We know that there is certainly power in numbers. That's not a discussion, that's easy. We understand that Judaism and Israel will never win the propaganda war. We just won't because there are so few of us that we are not anywhere near the amount to be able to battle two billion plus people in the world who subscribe to other religions, and many of them are constantly putting up misinformation and disinformation. And many of them are constantly putting up misinformation and disinformation.
Speaker 0:Their approach to life is rooted in lies. Specifically, what I'm talking about here has got to do with the religion of Islam. You're talking about a religion that brings an idea of taqiyya. Taqiyya is lying to the infidels. You have an obligation as a Muslim to number one make sure that you install the caliphate, the Sharia law, wherever you live around the world. It needs to be globalized, that's number one. And in order to achieve that, the Quran, the religion, gives them the obligation certainly the right, but also the obligation to lie in the name of furthering that cause. You understand, my friends, it is built on a foundation of corruption. You may not like that, but you want to argue with me on it. I'm happy to have that conversation. That is simply the reality. If you look around and you do your homework, you will understand that, just like they did when it came to October 7th.
Speaker 0:What was the narrative? The narrative is the exact opposite of reality. What do they say? That the people who were slaughtered at the Nova Festival were killed by an Apache helicopter. The IDF used Apache helicopters and slaughtered everybody at the Nova Festival. That's how these cars could end up so riddled with bullets. That's how there could be so much death and destruction. It had to come from the Hannibal Directive of the IDF, which says that you should kill these people instead of allowing them to get caught and sent to the hands of the enemy. So it must have been Israeli Apache helicopters that slaughtered their own Jewish blood at the Nova Festival. They literally, my friends, take reality and flip it on its head, just like now Charlie Kirk gets shot.
Speaker 0:What's the first thing that comes out? Mossad, israel, the Jews. It's shocking. This campaign of propaganda and lies is so powerful. But then again, you understand that their entire existence is built on it. It's built on lies, this concept of Takiyah that gives them the right to go and lie. We, my friends, do not subscribe to that. We subscribe to the opposite to truth. Nothing will ever beat truth. That's why the Jewish nation always comes out on top. That's why Israel has survived as long as it has, despite coordinated attacks from all of its enemies, generation after generation, thousands and thousands of years. And we continue to survive. Why? Because a Jew is a Yehudi who's mode who looks for the truth and uncovers lies and exposes them. That's who we are.
Speaker 0:It might seem in the short term that the lies are winning. It might seem in the short term that they're winning the propaganda war, but I can assure you, my friends, humanity is not stupid. We are not fools. We can be foolish, but we aren't fools. The vast majority of humanity have their heads on straight and they can see through the smoke and the fog. They can see through the lies. People good people, know the difference between right and wrong and they know when they're being lied to. And you can see that because, when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter how many people they have. What matters is not quantity, it is quality. That's why a small nation like the Jewish nation of 15 million people can step up and exist, even amongst so many enemies who are sworn to its destruction generation after generation.
Speaker 0:We are a tiny nation, and yet that's all that they talk about. We are the only subject on their minds. Look at every news station, look at everything that happens in the world. If there's no Jews, there's no news. That's reality, it's not just a saying. They are obsessed with us. We occupy all the real estate in their minds, and yet we are only 0.2% of the population. We barely exist. We barely show up on our radar, and yet we are all that they can talk about. Why? Because it's in our name, truth. We fight for truth. In fact, hitler, may his memory be erased.
Speaker 0:Hitler wrote in his Mein Kampf that the Jewish nation has defects, and one of those defects he referred to it as conscience, that we have a conscience. What he's really trying to say is that these people are too hell-bent on being good and finding truth. That is the differentiator, my friend, and it is a huge, huge one. I don't know how we. I know how we got into this. We got into this, but we're talking about quality over quantity. It doesn't matter.
Speaker 0:The masses will teach you that the majority rules. It's not true. The majority does not rule. In fact, in Torah we know that if you have somebody who's on trial and you bring a dozen different judges kosher judges and these people hear the facts of the case and every single one of them finds this individual guilty, then that individual is not found guilty because the entire group found them to be guilty, that there was no redeeming qualities in this individual. There was nobody there to even make or attempt to make an argument to appeal on this individual's behalf and therefore there must be something that's corrupt in this trial and because of that it is dismissed. The majority does not always rule. The facts rule, truth rules. It will always, always reign. Lies will always fall.
Speaker 0:I don't know if I've ever shared this with you guys, but it's important to understand that when you look at Sheker, which is spelled Shin, kuf, resh, shin, when you write it, sits on a point. The base of the Shin is a point. The Kuf, when you write it, also sits on a point, on a little tip at the bottom of the kuf, and the resh also stands on a tip, on its little tippy toe. All three letters that make up the word sheker can fall over easily. There is no support for lies. It is fickle and it is weak and it can fall over and crumble easily.
Speaker 0:Emet, which represents truth, is written alef, mem and Taf. Aleph has two bases, two legs that it stands on, giving it amazing support. Mem has a solid leg and another leg, two legs, one that almost takes up the entire base. That's a Mem and Taf again, two solid legs to stand on. Emet has solid foundation. It cannot be knocked over. Truth continues to stand.
Speaker 0:Maybe I'll give another example one day of a class entirely on Emet and the gematria, the numerology behind it. It will blow your mind. You want to come out on top. You want to be successful in this life. You want to follow the religion that is divine and that is perfect and that was given by the creator. There can only be one truth, my friends. There is no such thing as two truths, only one. The rest are lies. And there's also no such thing as 99% truth. It is either 100% true or it is a lie. There is no such thing as a partial truth, my friends. Remember that. Maybe that's a discussion for another day. Tomorrow we'll discuss more about this concept of reward and punishment, positive and negative consequences. Have an amazing day.
