History didn’t whisper today; it rang like a bell. We open with the raw emotion of the hostages’ release and the jolt of seeing that moment intersect with sacred days—Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah. From there, we trace a thread of meaning that runs through Jewish memory: redemption as a rhythm, not random luck, and faith as the lens that turns headlines into signals. The claim is direct and personal: there are no coincidences. If that sounds bold, the stories and texts anchor it—down to a father’s first words to his son, Shema Yisrael, a single sentence that restores centre.

We wrestle with agency and sovereignty: how to weigh the actions of leaders, the noise of politics, and the shock of events against the conviction that Providence holds the frame. It’s not an escape hatch; it’s a charge. Act wisely, study deeply, and choose priorities that outlast the news cycle. That means shifting energy from status and skyscrapers toward people and purpose—bringing sons and daughters home, strengthening community bonds, and refusing the distraction that numbs moral clarity. Along the way, we talk about why learning isn’t optional; it’s how you train your heart and mind to detect patterns, hold paradox, and do the next right thing.

We close with gratitude and resolve. Gratitude to God for mercy that breaks through the fog, gratitude to allies who showed up when it counted, and resolve to return after the holidays and deepen the connections we began sketching here. If you’ve felt the tug that today carries more meaning than a news alert, you’re in the right place. Join us, share your reflections, and help us keep this conversation honest and awake. If this moved you, follow the show, leave a review, and pass this episode to someone who needs hope with backbone.

Hodula Shem Kitov, Kila Olam Khazdo, praise God for his kindness is eternal. Welcome to the Trust Factor, my friends, for the special edition, the day the hostages were released, and the war, God willing, comes to an end. This is the podcast that will change your life, my friends, when you implement its divine age old teachings. Today's podcast has potential to go on a little bit longer than usual and for very, very good reasons. I don't have to tell you all, you've already seen the news. There are so many things rummaging through my mind right now. So many connections back to God and his Torah. You have no idea the symbolism, the amount of connections back that can be made by anybody who even wants to take just a small stab at it. So many ways God shows his hand today throughout this war and especially culminating in the day that they were released. There is so much meaning behind the day. The Arab Khag, the Khag that we find ourselves in, Sukot, Shminy Tserit, Simchatora, it it there's so many I don't even know where to start, and I don't know that I'm going to get into it in this podcast. I need time to absorb and think about it and make those connections a little bit more formally in my mind, and maybe next week after the Khag we'll come back and address it. But some really high level 30,000 foot elevation thoughts. My friends, there are no coincidences in this life. I've said it a million times, and I will say it until the day I die. There are no coincidences. God took them out on Simchatorah. He ended the war on the same holiday that it started. Do you know what it says about the entire redemption of the Jewish people from the entire world, from all of the craziness, from all of our slavery and all of our persecutions and all of these exiles, the ultimate redemption? It says Ben Isanigalu, that was our first original redemption. We left Egypt in that month of Passover. That's when our first Passover was, and it says that the next time that we're going to be redeemed, the final time is going to be in Isan Passover again, my friends. The same thing was demonstrated over here very clearly. They were taken from us on this day, and they were returned to us all the on this day, albeit even a little bit sooner, even a little bit ahead of the clock, my friends. How many of our sages have discussed the fact that the ultimate coming of Mashiach is supposed to be in 6,000 years? But many say it will come earlier. It can and it will come earlier. It does not have to wait the full 6,000 years. God in his love for us is showing us that he is doing things by himself. He is orchestrating absolutely everything. We are living the facade where we think that we have people like Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu and all of these people who are coming together, either working for us, like the two I just mentioned, or working against us, like the Macrons of the world and the Star uh Keir Starmers of the world and the and the Mark Carneys of the world, the losers that are coming against us. We lay blame and we give props. But my friends, at the end of the day, as much as many of those are true, the buck starts and stops with your creator and he's showing you his hand. All you have to do is look, if you're studying Torah, if you know what I'm talking about, it's because you're studying Torah. If you don't know what I'm talking about and you think I'm just trying to make random connections, it only proves that you need to learn more Torah. That's it, my friends. It's not too late. Don't waste another second. Go out and study it and learn it and understand that all of these things, every single action that takes place is perfectly, perfectly coordinated. It melts the heart to see a religious father coming to see his son who was kidnapped by Hamas and gone for two years and thought of as dead to see his son today for the first time. And the first words that come out of his mouth are Shma Israel Hashem Elokeno Hashem Echad. That's all he can bring himself to say. The recognition that God runs this world and that God is one and that God is the only God. There are no other gods, my friends. One day soon, my friends, the world, the entire world will come to understand and accept that truth with love. And that, my friends, will be the beginning of the days of Mashiach. I'm going to address this more, God willing, after the Khagim. Right now, my friends, because there's so much going on in my head, we have to get back to what we've been talking about, which is very much what's going on right now, which is understanding where our thoughts need to be, where our efforts need to be. Is it on making money? Is it on building a bank account? Buying and build a new building on Fifth Avenue, Park Avenue? Is it about building skyscrapers? Or is it about trying to get to the human aspect of everything that we deal with in this life? Are we focused on each other? Are we focused on bringing back our daughters and our sons? By the way, no daughters lived, remained alive throughout all this. You can deduce from that what you want. But where are we focusing our energies, my friend? Is it on building our bank accounts, building our egos? You know how many people are disconnected from what's going on right now? That they just heard about it as a fleeting idea and then they went back to work because they're trying to close a business deal. Do you know how many people have no idea what's going on now that it's Shminyatzer and that it's uh Simchatora? You have no idea how many people in the world are so disconnected. They are Jews and they are so disconnected, and they don't even have to be Jews. The rest of the world should be wide awake right now and glued to their televisions because what is happening right now is an indication that God runs this world and that good has won over evil and it will continue, God willing. What comes in the next few days, in the next weeks and months is yet to be seen. God willing, the right thing will happen, God is continuing to run this show. What we see, we think we know, but we don't. He knows, and ultimately, just as everything that he does in our personal lives, when he's involved intimately in our lives on a day to day, minute by minute basis, the same way that it's all for our best, so too when he deals with things on a national level. It is all for the best of his beloved nation, the nation that is going to rise and become a light unto the rest of the world to show them that there is only one God and that there is no such thing as a life without God. A life without God is the equivalent of death in this world, my friends. We don't want that. We want to live and we want to thrive, and the only way to do that is to bring your creator into your life, my friends, it's a game changer. Trust me, my friends, I should know. I've had both feet in this world for half of my life, more than half of my life, and today I've got almost both feet in the entire next world, my friends. God willing, we'll all continue to work to getting there, and life in this world and eventually in the next will be spectacular as a result of our efforts. I think I'm gonna leave it over here today, my friends, because there's so much more to talk about. I had read forward to be able to continue in the book, but there's just so many thoughts in my head right now, and I just want to soak up what's going on in Israel. I want to be happy and grateful for our Creator and for those who've come to our assistance. Can you imagine? Just imagine, my friends, if Kamala Harris would have been president of the United States. I can't even begin to fathom the extreme torture that we would have gone through. What we are seeing and what we've seen for the last two years is but a tiny, tiny fraction of the pain and suffering that the Jewish nation would have felt had Kamala Harris and the Democrats won the election. The only friend that we have right now in the world, thank God, is Donald Trump and his family. My friends, don't look at it lightly. I don't care what you think about politics. I don't care how you feel about his personality and the things he says or how he says it. If you're not able to put all that aside right now and accept and understand and acknowledge that he is the ultimate friend of the state of Israel and the Jewish nation. And he and his family alone, aside from everybody else on planet Earth, all of humanity, he and his family alone are the reason why we are here today. When it comes to the real meat and potatoes, we know who runs the show, we know who we have to thank. That's the creator. But when it comes to humanity, when it comes to the physical and the material world, thank God for Donald Trump, my friends. God bless the state of Israel, God bless the Jewish nation, God bless America, and God bless Donald Trump. Have an amazing hug, my friends. We'll see you on the other side.
