Do you know who's working two and three jobs? The people who can't make their month end. And do you know who's running around on private jets and spending days on the golf course? People who aren't in the office. There is a negative correlation between the amount of hours that you spend hard at work and the amount of money that you make. People don't think about that. They think if I just get another job, then I'll make more money. It's just another spigot on that same barrel. You don't need to do that. The trust factor is to take it to a better life. The trust factor shows you how to get through the life. Welcome to the Trust Factor Podcast. It's Sunday. It's the beginning of a brand new week, my friends, and it's going to be a powerful, successful week. Why? Because you're going to tune in every single day, and we're going to learn some of the wisdom, the ancient divine wisdom that was given to us thousands of years ago. The same wisdom that allowed us to thrive as a species for thousands of years and to get to where we are today. We're making it new. We're making it fresh. We're applying it to today. And so you're going to benefit from it as long as you tune in. But don't forget, there are a lot of people who don't have access to this information. There are a lot of people, the vast majority of humanity are walking around like chickens with their heads cut off. They're walking around with blindfolds. They don't know these things. If you walk away thinking, wow, that was fantastic, what amazing information. That's so true. That's so real. I've been sold a faulty bill of goods by society. Then know that there are so many people out there that you know, friends and family, who are suffering in the same darkness. It's time to pull them out. And the way to pull them out of that darkness is to send this podcast far and wide. Let your friends sign up, add them to the WhatsApp chat, send the link so that they can join on whatever platform they wish. The Trust Factor Podcast is everywhere. It's on every platform. And there's no reason that everybody you know shouldn't be signed up to it. Let's finish off this discussion that we've been having, which has been an amazing discussion. An eye-opener, even for me. But this is so real, my friends. We're talking about gambling. We're talking about people chasing the mighty buck. We're into a recession if you're in Canada. And that's not a good indication for the G20 or the G7 countries. They're all suffering in one form or another. A lot of us have similarities. That's why they're part of the same group. They apply a lot of the same policies and principles that are passed down by who knows who. And a lot of these countries have no choice but to sign on to these corrupt policies. And that means if Canada is leading the way, which they said they were, that there are a lot of other countries that are about to follow suit. There's going to be a cash crunch. And a lot of people are going to go out and try and figure out ways to get as much money as they can, irrespective of the mechanism. It doesn't matter how they get the money. The important thing is that they get it, even if they risk every single one of their morals and values to get it. And so we've been talking about how you get your head on straight. How do you get perspective using God's Torah, using wisdom that was given to us 3,500 years ago by our Father in heaven who created everything that ever was, is, and will be. And he gave us a manual. He gave us a document. He didn't just drop us off and say, hey, figure it out. Good luck. Let me know after 120 years how it worked out. He's not that guy. Our creator is a loving father, exponentially more loving than any physical father could ever be. And he gave us a manual to say, do this and don't do that, and you will be successful. We're reading from that, my friends. And when it comes to money, when it comes to finances, you should know that your allotment is determined for you every single year. Your gains and your losses. You can impact them by making good decisions or bad decisions. And one of the bad decisions that you can make is going into a casino, gambling against other people, stealing their hard-earned money, just like these casinos are built on the theft of all of these victims and their hard-earned money. So stay away from it, guys. You're not going to impact your revenue. If you make any money out of a casino, it's going to come with a curse. But in reality, nine and a half times out of ten, you're coming out at a loss. You're just not hearing about it because it's not the narrative that they want you to subscribe to. We're going to finish off this discussion about happiness and wealth, and we're going to move into the discussion around marriage and family. Very important. But remember what I've said multiple times. The two top evil inclinations are money and relations. So you know that it's not going away. It's going to creep into this conversation. In what context? Depends on what we're talking about. But those two evil inclinations are your biggest test, all of humanity's biggest tests. There are other ones. Food is an evil inclination. That's why people have a hard time dieting. There are so many different inclinations, evil inclinations in the world that weigh us down. But the two biggest ones are money, power, one and the same, and relations. So let's finish this off today and let's see if we could start off marriage and family. It says the gambler looking for quick profits thinks that money will solve his problems. And we've established clearly that that is not the case, especially the saying, easy come, easy go. If you just made an untold fortune by simply putting a coin in a slot machine and pulling on that handle, then that money came easily. There was no sweat involved. So it's easy come and it's easy go. If it came to me so easily, then I don't have to worry about what I'm going to do with it. That's why the most value that you get out of any money is the money that you've earned. When you put in a hard day's work and you come away with a paycheck that was well earned, that money is appreciated, unlike any winnings that you could ever get in any casino or any lottery. But those who believe in the creator know that the quality of their lives does not depend on the amount of money that they have. Oftentimes, it's exactly the opposite. Those who have money are steeped in troubles. It says in the Torah, Marben Hassin, Marbede Agot. You increase your dealings, your businesses, your affairs, and you do that how? Through money. You increase your worries. They go hand in hand. Some people have been wealthy for a very long time and they've become accustomed to dealing with those stresses, but it doesn't mean that those stresses aren't there. They are a very heavy tax and burden on these individuals. Everybody's coming after them for a piece and a pie. Where does our happiness really lie? On the extent that we acquire amuna, I trust in our creator, knowledge that he exists, and knowing how he runs the world, especially when it comes to issues of our finances, as well as succeeding and performing his will. When I spend my day running around trying to do the amazing things that my creator tells me to do, remember, we have that manual. And the manual says you want to be happy, you want to be successful, you want to get an A plus in this life, then do the things that the Torah tells you to do. Occupy yourself with giving charity. Occupy your time with prayer. Occupy your time with observing important religious holidays. Occupy your time with helping your neighbor to get up on their feet. Make sure that your business is kosher, that it's above board. Always use the Torah as your metric. And if you're doing that, then you will live a happy life. Prayer, charity, and penitence, as well as a major effort in acquiring emuna, that faith in your creator, are the only solutions to financial difficulties. If you're struggling with finances, check back in with your creator. I want to give you a caveat over here. I want to explain to you guys because words are cheap. It doesn't cost me anything to give you over these words. I want to explain to you the difference between the words and the actions. In order to do this, in order to make this real, where you understand it becomes part of the fabric of your being that there is a creator, that he's your father, that he loves you, that he controls your finances, and that as long as you do what he wants you to do, as long as you get up and make an effort, your money is coming to you. How do you learn that? If you're 50, 60, 70 years old, it is exceedingly difficult to figure that out now. It's not impossible. It's just difficult. The longer we go through this life, complacent and used to the way that we are functioning, the harder it becomes to make change. Everybody knows that. The longer it takes for you to get married, the less likely it is that you are ever going to get married. Why? Because you become accustomed to living on your own. You like things the way that they are. And it becomes increasingly difficult for you to let somebody in to be able to make even the smallest change in your house. Very difficult. Why? Because you didn't do it when you were young. That's why in the religious community, we're often marrying off our children at very young ages, sometimes as young as 18 or 19 years old. That might seem crazy to you, but it's not to me. It's not because I realize that society, secular society, is suffering with the other problem, the opposite, which is that people are not getting married today. They're putting it off entirely. And if they do get married, it's sometimes well into their mid-30s or late 30s, and sometimes even into their 40s. However rare that may be, people are simply not getting married today. So the idea is start it early. Put these practices in place early on in your life, and you will have exponentially greater chances of succeeding. And the same thing applies over here. How does it apply to finances and knowing that your creator runs the world and knowing that all you need to do is get up and make an effort and your money is coming? You just have to do it, which means start young. If you have children who are 18, 20, 22, just getting into the workforce, drill this into their heads. Let them understand that they have to start now. Build that practice today of putting your faith in your creator and knowing that you don't have to scramble to be able to make an extra buck. And it's not within your power to make more than what is coming to you. And then all you need to do is put out a reasonable effort. That means that if you're living in a society where nine to five is reasonable, five days a week, Monday to Friday, is reasonable, that's all that's expected of you at the most. At the most. It doesn't even need to be that because there are many people making untold fortunes who never work. They barely step into an office. Why? Because that's what they need to be doing in order to achieve their purpose in this life. It's got nothing to do with how many hours they spend in the office. If you look at it with real eyes, you will see that there is actually an inverse correlation. It's negatively correlated the amount of time that you spend working and the amount of money that you make. You need to realize that there is a God that runs this world and put your faith in him. And when you do that, when you start with penitence, when you start recognizing, first I need to clean up my act. First, I need to get that clean slate. And how do I do that? I do that by penances, by repenting, by saying, I'm sorry, I did wrong. I didn't conduct myself properly. I behaved in a negative way. That's negatively impacted me. And it's probably negatively impacted my finances. So first let me clean up shop. And then I can start fresh again. But you can do that so much easier when you're young and just starting out. When you've got a family, when you've got kids, when you've got businesses, when you've got employees, when you've got all these things happening, and so much on your shoulders, it becomes almost impossible to flip that script, to pull a 180 and suddenly decide, no, no, no, no. I'm used to working 14 hours a day, seven days a week, and now I'm gonna go to working six, seven, eight hours a day, five days a week. No. I know that it starts and stops with me. I might sell myself on this concept that there's a God, but really deep down, I think it's me. It gets harder with time, my friends. And he says over here, and we'll conclude with this, it's beautiful. As long as a person refrains from repenting, even with all the money in the world, he or she will still suffer because of his or her uncorrected transgressions. With penitence, a clean spiritual slate, people will live sweet and pleasant lives even if they don't have a penny in their pockets. And listen to this Rabbi Arush says, one of my teachers would tell me about his exceptionally happy father-in-law, who nonetheless lived in dire poverty. He had nothing. Once his rich friend told him that he buys his wife and his children everything, everything that they want. And yet there is never peace in their home. They're never happy. But since my father-in-law is always happy, he makes his wife and children happy. They feed off of his happiness, and they were always content despite their needs. You don't need money to make you happy, and oftentimes it's that very money that will make you miserable. It all comes from your outlook, your understanding of what you have and why you have it. And we finish with this. A person should be satisfied with his or her lot in life. That's the secret. Who is the rich person? Who's the wealthy person? Pirkeavot tells us, the ethics of the fathers tells us, he who is happy with his lot in life, that is the difference. Our sages said that the more one has, the more one worries. That's what I said before, my benechasim, my bada god. The more interests you have, the more businesses you're involved in, the more investments you've got, you've got more holes in your head. In any event, the best and only way to acquire one's needs is prayer, appealing to our merciful Father in heaven, he says, for his divine blessing and compassion. That's it, guys. He's there. He's waiting for you to reach out to him. He wants a relationship with you. And oftentimes he gives you the tribulation. He holds back the money from you. He's got it to give. He doesn't lack. He wants to give it to you, but he wants you to ask for it. He wants you to reach out first. And let me just finish with this because it popped into my mind. In the beginning of creation, to illustrate this beautifully, God created Adam and Eve. And it says, and if you look back, you'll see, it says very clearly that God created all the herbage and all the trees of the fields were created early on in creation. This was way before Adam was even created. But then later on it says that God took Adam and he put him in the garden, right? To work the field. And yet it says that the food and the herbage and the trees had not yet sprouted. But wait a second, I thought that they were there. It said earlier on in creation that they were already created. So why is it that later on when God puts Adam in the Garden of Eden, that he has no food? Why? Because God was waiting. God was waiting for Adam to pray, to ask for it. He was praying that the food would come up. Suddenly he had hunger pains and he needed to eat. So the food was there. The potential was there. It was under the ground. It hadn't sprouted yet. Why? Because God was withholding, He was waiting for that relationship. Recognize where it comes from. Come to me and ask. And when you ask, you shall receive. Let that be our motto for the rest of our lives, my friends. Have an amazing week and we'll chat again soon. Thank you for spending time with us on the Trust Factor Podcast.
